Functional Flexibility – Drop In Available

Flexibility training is important because of the role it plays in improving movement quality and reducing the opportunity for injury in aerial and dance.  But flexibility can be a liability if it isn’t accompanied by serious strength all the way to the end of your range of motion (ROM). Our staff will help guide you safely though active exercises to improve your ROM, your strength, and your neurological “intelligence”, for healthy, balanced, and fluid movement. Working with dynamic and functional movement patterns will also help you dial in movement technique that will help you become an aerial powerhouse, with access to a bigger range of creative expression.

Mixed Apparatus – Level 1/2 – March Session

This progression for graduates from our Intro series, and with instructor approval, will dig into the standards of aerial on fabric, single-point trap, lyra, and hammock. This will include straddle climbs, hip keys, meat hooks, low drops, mounts and more dynamic moves on trap and hoop. This is where students will launch their access to higher level skills. Join us for a carefully supported progression to the next level of skills and expressive potential.

In the quest to increase our badassery we offer you an opportunity to get strong.  I mean real strong.  Using floor exercises and aerial work, your whole body will be challenged to pull, push, and dig deep to find your most powerful self.  In addition to building your strength, you will have opportunity to chase after gorgeous splits and back bends.  This class will increase your overall fitness and make your aerial practice feel easier.
