“This is a great place to see what’s possible and put yourself in the picture. You can try out different disciplines to see what’s right for you.”
- AADF 2017 attendee
From Dec. 9th – Dec 16th, 2017, Apogee Aerial Dance Festival exploded across Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.
As Seattle’s very first aerial dance festival, this week long event brought together aerial enthusiasts from across the country to train, explore, perform, and connect.
The festival debut was such a massive success that we’re excited to go even bigger in 2018. We are bringing in more instructors from around the world, offering more workshops to more students, and putting together more performances for the community to enjoy.

Quotes from 2017 Attendees
I loved AADF. Many of my workshops focused on underappreciated components of any aerial show - where the apparatus meets the ground . . . opened me up to entirely new ways of storytelling with aerial.

(Apogee) had an amazing variety of workshops, panels, and performances, and I only wish I could have done more!
